My Water Baby ft Baby SPA

Born on the year of the water snake, with Pisces as her zodiac sign and Aquamarine as her birthstone, my baby is really destined to be a water lover. I remember her first bath, she was really so relaxed that she pooped while we were bathing her! I caught this on video but sadly lost the tablet where I recorded it.

So when she was 3 months old, we brought her to experience the Baby Spa in Singapore. I already know of this place before because we would often pass by their branch in Harbourfront or in Plaza Singapura and see the babies floating in the tub (with floaters, of course). They were so cute and they seemed to enjoy it so this was on top of the list of must-do's for my baby's first visit to SG.

We knew she has no issues with water but we we're really amused by how much she loved being in it! Let the video speak for itself! Super enjoy ang kiddo!

I really loved the idea of this Baby Spa. Perfect for a baby's first venture in the water. The water is clean (changed for every baby), the temperature is regulated (of course) and the staff really knows how to handle babies and anxious mommies. We also availed of the baby massage which Kiddo enjoyed as well.

She really experiences a different kind of high in the water haha! Sabi nga, ang daming tuwa ni Kaydee sa tubig.

Maybe she was a mermaid in her immediate past life?

Because of that, swimming is part of our itinerary whenever she is vacationing here with us. Last December, we went to the Ocean Adventure and this was her first big pool experience. She really felt so at home in the water that she didnt mind if we let go of her (in her floaters, of course).

And on the actual day of her first birthday, we went to a resort in Lipa so she can do what she loves on her big day.

This was during Gonzo's (my highschool friend's baby son) pool birthday party. Although she already had the sniffles, I still let her swim because I felt she cannot miss an opportunity to do so. Ayan, after that, her flu got worse and she developed a fever (oh how her Diddo blamed me!).

Good thing we have this to look forward to in our soon-to-be home...my kiddo can swim all she wants...

...or not, hahaha! Baka mangitim lalo, lagot na naman kami sa tatay.:P Anyway, they say it's best to train your kids sa water this early.Swimming is a skill that will be useful in life so I'll definitely take advantage of her love for water to make sure that she excels in this skill.
