This year's holy week led us to Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia..the nearest cosmo city/country from Singapore. Aside from being a long weekend, there were other reasons why it was an opportune time for us to be getting out of the country(maybe I'll explain in a future post :p).
And thus, our first family travel.
We decided on KL the last minute and since it was a peak period because of the Good Friday holiday, airfares were already too expensive. So we decided to take a bus going to KL. We booked through www.busonlineticket.com and took the late evening trip.It was convenient to book through the site because it gives you all the options for the date/s you specified (ex. bus operator, coach types, time, drop-off/pick-up points and price) so you can choose accordingly.
Even if we were traveling with a toddler, I would say that, in our case, the bus travel was a breeze. The bus seats are comfy enough and the legroom is sufficient so we were able to squeeze in some shut-eye, baby included.

Travel time from Farrer Park in SG to the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in KL is almost 5hours, including the immigration and pit stops. Since we mostly slept through it, before we knew it, we were already in TBS, KLs main transportation terminal. It's a bus terminal that looks and feels like an airport terminal (way better than NAIA I, lemme tell yah). So it's really a safe place to be dropped off in the middle of the night for a family with a baby in tow.
It is connected to KLs Rapid transit (their MRT) but since we arrived at around 3am, which was 2+ hours before the train opens, we just took a cab to our friend's condo (S/O to Denis, Kaydee's ninong who letting us crash in his condo for this trip).
After getting some more sleep and taking a quick dip in the condo pool,we went off via their MRT to explore KLs main attraction, the Petronas/Twin Tower and KLCC Suria, the high end mall connected to the tower.
